Unit 46 – P3
a) Setting up appropriate equipment	Before we went out and started filming, we noted down the equipment that was going to be needed for our video. We had a discussion on what equipment we needed and if any specific equipment would make our video better. The DSLR camera was needed to record the footage and we made sure it worked and no issues were involved so then we did not have to waste time recording. The Tripod we used because we wanted our footage to be as stable as we could record. It helped us record difficult shots and made sure there was not much movement. We also used a Dolly which benefited us the most. This was because it allowed the camera to be on the tripod but also be moving whilst recording. We made sure the SD card was empty so we could record a large amount of footage and then upload onto the computer.
b) Following script	When thinking of the music video idea it took a long time to decide which sort of genre would suit our group and if we would be able to record using limited time and space. We had a script set out, and we started filming our shots. There were some shots which we edited and improved on to make our final product high quality and professional. Most of our shots which we listed on our script we followed throughout and we just added some parts. The script was written out well and was clear which prevented us from getting confused and mixed up.
d) Following production process	Production process was the most important as it set the foundation of what we were going to do and where. There were specific dates mentioned which we had to record and film. We also had to create risk assessments, location recce and many other documents for us to start recording. This was important as we needed a suitable location to record and we had to make sure that the risks involved was zero or minimal. We followed the production process very well and we also improved on It as we had extra slots for recording during the day, so we could get the best footage.  Having the correct production process documents helped us to be ready on the day and make sure we had all the equipment and props booked.
